The Distressed Look

It seems that pre-distressed jeans often cost more than shiny new ones these days. If you want the look without spending a lot of money Curbly has a post on distressing your own jeans using coffee grounds and a cheese grater.

I have a pair of distressed designer jeans I bought on clearance, and hemming them has gotten rid of the “fancy” distressing on the bottoms of the legs. Perhaps I should take the microplane to them.
